The College of Shipbuilding Engineering is proud of its unique HR strength. The prolific academic environment is sustained by its dedicated and accomplished faculty. Currently the College has 152 academic and administrative staff members; 1 is an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, 28 are professors including 21 doctoral advisors, and 47 are associate professors and senior engineers. More than 30 educators serve as council members of scholarly associations outside of the provincial area. In recent years, the College faculty has published thousands of academic papers including 69 SCI papers. Over 180 research projects of national, provincial and institutional levels are in progress or have already been successfully completed.
