Research
The main research fields include: advanced theory of wave motion, composite materials science, lightweight materials for shipbuilding, high performance concrete, concrete durability, new composite structure, fire safety analysis and water supply and sewage.
The College's commitment to combining education with the creation of knowledge provides a fertile environment for research that has spawned a host of scientific breakthroughs and technical advances. Achievements since 2000 include undertaking the projects of the National Science Fund, Doctoral Fund of National Education Ministry and fund of the province and ministry, as well as some other military and civil projects, many of which have been awarded at the provincial, ministerial and national levels.
